L'Alliance de la Rigueur et du Sensible​
Né en 1990 en France, Yuandy est un artiste dont le parcours est marqué par une fascination précoce pour l'Asie. Cet attrait se manifeste d'abord par la voie du corps et de l'esprit : le badminton. Joueur, entraîneur et entrepreneur, il puise dans ce sport, profondément ancré dans la tradition asiatique, une discipline et une première connexion spirituelle avec l'Orient.

Le véritable tournant s'opère en 2014, à travers une rencontre intime et décisive : celle de son épouse, d'origine chinoise. Elle devient sa muse et sa passerelle vers une immersion profonde dans la culture de l'Empire du Milieu. Dès 2016, Yuandy prend les pinceaux pour capturer cette nouvelle réalité, débutant par le portrait avant d'élargir son horizon.

Mais c'est en 2023, lors d'une exposition marquante à Lyon, que sa vocation s'impose comme une évidence. Yuandy décide alors de se consacrer pleinement à une démarche unique : faire dialoguer l'art visuel occidental avec la symbolique chinoise millénaire.

Aujourd'hui, son œuvre est une fusion. Il ne se contente pas de peindre la Chine, il la réinterprète avec un regard contemporain, tissant des liens entre images iconiques et sagesse écrite, offrant au spectateur une vision moderne, universelle et apaisante de cet héritage culturel.

The Union of Rigor and Sensitivity

Born in France in 1990, Yuandy is an artist whose path has been shaped by an early fascination with Asia. This attraction first manifested through a discipline of body and mind: badminton. As a player, coach, and entrepreneur, he drew from this sport—deeply rooted in Asian tradition—a sense of rigor and a spiritual connection with the Orient.

A decisive turning point occurred in 2014 through an intimate encounter: his wife, of Chinese origin. She became his muse and his gateway to a profound immersion in Chinese culture. By 2016, Yuandy took up the brush to capture this new reality, initially exploring portraiture before expanding his horizons.

However, it was in 2023, during a pivotal exhibition in Lyon, that his true vocation emerged as undeniable. Yuandy decided to devote himself fully to a unique approach: creating a dialogue between Western visual art and millennia-old Chinese symbolism.

Today, his work is a fusion. He does not merely paint China; he reinterprets it with a contemporary gaze, weaving ties between iconic images and written wisdom, offering the viewer a modern, universal, and soothing vision of this cultural heritage.
